FIRST IMPRESSION: Good find and a good photograph!
CHALLENGE: Meets che challenge.
COMPOSITION: Composition is very good, I like how you placed the bicycle at the left side and included a long view of the sidewalk. It suggests the idea that there's somewhere interesting beyond to ride the bicycle. The shot does seem to be leaning slightly right though (it needs a slight counterclockwise rotation to be level I think)
TECHNICAL: All technical aspects are excellent. Black and white was a good choice to add an old-time feel and bring out the light and shadow.
CONCLUSION: A good, solid entry to this challenge.

| The decision to go black and white gives this image an old fashioned feel to it. It's a humorous pic as well and one I would also expect to find on a postcard. |

| not to be confused with "rental bikes" ;) I like the starkness of the sign, and not sure if you intended it, but i also really like hte view down the sidewalk, has a very urban pedestrian feel. |

| I like the choice of b/w for this shot. I like negative space and lines, but I think in this case, the sidewalk probably leads the viewer's eye out of the shot instead of into it. The sign is a good find. |
