The gray border outside the black border is weird. They eye normally stops at a black border, but the gray outside it tempts the eye to spill outside the photograph.

The contrast between the man and the sky is great. However you managed to do this (overexposure?), it is an awesome shot!

Wow this is good. Love the selective desat! Colors and light is good too!! 8, may bump you up higher later. I have a feeling this one is gonna place top 5.
