The cropping of the image was done nicely. Father and child out participating in an activity together really brings out the family meaning. The father is too dark and the image is not the sharpest. The sky is very hazy. |

| I like thsi representation of family, and the quasi-panoramic view. The sky looks a bit muted andI wish there was more detail on the man. However, I am sure this was a question of lighting and it might not be adjustable. I love the depth of field and the green in the tide pool area. |

| I wish this had a bit more punch to it. If the dad and child were closer together, you could zoom in and not have so much negative space imbetween. Just a thought. |

| I'd never heard of rockpooling until I saw this. Thank goodness for Google! That is a great shot. What I would have given to have been able to do something like this with my Dad. This image fits the challenge perfectly. I like the panoramic crop too. |

| A sweet scene that is universal enough to remind many of our childhoods in the bosom of our families - many entries don't have what I'd term universal appeal - this one does I think. |
