I think getting closer, and not cropping so much would make this a much better shot. |

I'd have done anything I could to make this picture bigger, but to keep the bulb seem small. Maybe just put a gigantic black border around it to isolate it. |

Use all 640 so we can see the picture better, please! |

The size of the photo itself hurt this photo for me. You can have up to 640 pixals on the longest side and up to 150 kb total. You lost a lot more of your shot then you needed to by trimming down this small. |

Generaly larger pics do better on DPC. I think you have a well lighted and technically sound shot. The lamp appears too centered for continuous viewing, so you might try shifting it to one side ot the other to invoke more interest. 5 |

I like the lighting, but it's a little too centered for my taste. Wish the image wasn't so small too. =-( 5 |

This is rather small, good idea! |

Needs to be bigger - you can increase your jpeg compression to make the file size smaller while retaining the number of pixels in the image (you can go up to 640 pixels on a side). |

the cropping makes it look a bit like an accident. i like the concept though. |

if the light from the bulb could be dimmed, then couple that with a long exposure from the camera, it would create a much softer image? anyway for this image, the cropping is not exactly interesting. |
