For you who where guessing:
This boy is holding a canon ixus and his mother.
They stopped by for a visit and I took photos instead of talking to them. Thanks to this photo my wife is not still mad at me for it. |

| The focus seems sharpest on the strap for the S230. If your image wasn't being evaluated solely by people who will probably like to see a kid with a camera, I'd say that the photo would be stronger without it. Overall I like the shot, but I think that shooting it from a lower angle (looking up at the kid) and having a stronger catchlight would have improved the image. |

| High quality photo. Don't love the recorder in his hand. I know how hard it is to get kids to do exactly what you want them to. My kids are always holding something or eating something. Anyway, very nice. |

| Great DOF and composition! Love the expression too. At first, I thought the shot was too bright, but upon further examination I think it works - brings out the innocence, purity, and frailty of the child's expression. Really nice job. |
