Beautiful

I wish the rose was pulled down a little bit more so that all of "In loving memory of" was all the way visible. A little bit softer lighting would have been nice too to make the pages of the bible similar on the left and right side.

I am sorry for your loss. I recently have lost 4 friends in one month and found out another friend had a stroke yesterday. Again, deepest sympathy for you and your family.

How sad! Nice way to convey the family sentiment.

You know, I really don't equate "family" with death. Seems to be the antithesis to family, imo.

I take the flower is a nice yellow at home?
In the shot it appears very green tinted. I would have like it with a nice yellow.

I really like your idea behind this, to look at family from the other side. Nicely done.

I like the original idea here, but I think the shot is off a bit technically. The lighting is quite strong on the top and very dim on the bottom. A more even light would make for a cleaner image. Also the pressed flower is adding to the flat feeling here, a fresh flower would have given some dimension.
