 This photo probably won't get many high scores, but it will be interesting to see if anyone could guess that the light coming through the trees is not the sun.... It is a street light. This photo was taken from the back porch of my house, looking toward the street.

This is a very nice abstract shot, but I can't see it ending up on a postcard in a million years, I'm afraid.

This has a very nice soft feel to it which you often find in postcard shots. The only thing I would have changed is the sun's position. I would have cropped it into one of the third's positions to bring in more impact. The colors are amazing here.

or is the mothership arriving? cool photo, not sure how i should interpret this as a representative postcard from your area of the world, ie: is there nothing else?

THis doesn't have a postcard feel it to for me. The picture itself could have been great, but it seems the higher iso, or long exposure caused a bit of grain which distracts me from teh beauty of the sun through the tree. a border might have helped this feel like a postcard more.
