Hi Kenbo...
The theme you are offering with your postcard photo is a strong one. I also think your composition is excellent. The stairway on the right leads the viewer right up to the shrine... I think the weather conditions and time of day were your enemy in this photo. I think this scene could be photographed on an overcast day to allow you to bring out the more subtle details and keep everything in the scene inside a good exposure range without having any areas too dark or too bright.

| Pretty scene. This is a very nice angle and subject for a postcard shot, but the glare on the roof is so very harsh. This might have been a bit better at a different time of day. 7 Rob the Swash |

| It is a little on the dark side which for a postcard is not always so advantageous. The composition is good using the natural framing. However I would have gone a few steps higher to include more of the building into your shot. |

| the amazing glare/brightness through and off the shrine make it hard to notice any of the other details of the photograph, including the loverly staircase. |

| Interesting angle for this shot. It seems a little too dark to me, even being in the shadows of the trees. It doesn\'t have too much of a postcard feel to it either. a frame and text might have helped. |
