This is brilliant Jason...I love what you have done to this photo in photoshop...interesting choice of lens that has carried the shot off well...a macro lens would not have been the lens I would have pulled out of the bag, but I'll need to think again after seeing this...that's an amazing photograph. I particularly like the sharpness in the face. as someone else has mentioned...mesmerising. Definitely the very best snow leopard shot I have seen |

Very striking (I love snow leopards anyway), but as said before, I also feel that the selective blurring might be a little overdone. Great pose and composition. |

I can't beleive this shot did not get a ribbon. Everything you've done here is good. The soft focus works and I am so glad you centred the subject. Stay away from trendy compositions and trust yourself. I am curious if you took a lot of shots. Was there one where the leopard's ears were up.
Great stuff
Your profile pic is not so good.

Was the bottom of his tail really that thick? Strange. Spooky Pic. |

I'm sorry that you are getting comments about your shot being too soft or not sharp enough. I like this effect and wish it would do better in this forum...

nice shot...the perspective makes the tail look awfully distorted though... |

Wonderful pose, eyes are beautiful, a little too centered for my taste, but excellent none the less... Good Luck! |

Great photo! MESMERIZING! You captured a wonderful balance with the texture of the rocks and the sleekness of the snow leopard. Very intense! |

The selective defocusing is a little strong. The photo looks like it was srtong enough to warrant not having to add special effects. Superb light and exposure. Great detail on the face. |

overall nice image, but can see what looks like a lot of PS work around the edges, find it distracting. |

With the selective desat this appears very surreal. I like it, I just wish it were a little sharper. |

What a great shot. The snow leopards at the St. Louis zoo are always in cages so I've never been able to get a good shot of one.
The clarity is fantastic.
I'm jealous!!! :-) |

Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice |

Stunning. This may be a ribbon winner. The focus and the stellar contrast against the dark rock is just superb. His eyes are like gold amidst all the black and white. Simplye perfect. |

I would have cropped a bit tighter and not colored the eyes quite so much, but well done overall |
