The change between the floor and back should have been smoother. This would have looked better as well as iving an illusion of distance.

| Too much shadow, lighting doesn't seem to be good... very bright, not extremely interesting. Subject is cool, with it's detail, just wish it wouldn't just be a glass ball sitting on a table. |

| the backdrop is a bit distracting, and if you're going to include the shadow, I'd include more of it (but that's just me) |

| my guess is you used flash. There is a flare area visible on the upper right side of your glass ball. |
