| this photo just misses being scored higher. lots of really nice things about it, but i really find the right side to be distracting and it takes away from the effect of the colors and textures |

| You framed or cropped this really quite well. Interesting textures and colors. Focus could have been a bit sharper. |

| Patella's Saggy Baggy IMAGE_ID=3726 looked much like this, compositionally. He chose to enhance the textures using some unconventional unsharp mask settings and the effort won a ribbon. Not sure the same trick would work twice, but I do think that it is in the textures that the strength of this photo lies, and I believe there are spots where sharpening would improve the textures. |
