| the soft focus is nice and softens the look of the pricks so they aren't that uninviting! |

| Good choice of subject, but it's kind of blurry. Most postcards are quite sharp, almost macro-feeling, and in this one even the butterfly's blurry. The part most in focus, strangely, is the mass of stamens in the flower, which isn't really what you want the viewer focussing on. The general composition's quite good, though, and there's nice contrasts and colors. With a little more care for the focussing this could easily have gotten an 8 or 9 from me. |

| wow what an original pic. I think I can honestly say that this is the first time I see a butterfully on a cactus. Good job. Nice colors and great placement of the butterfly in the corner. I like it. Jacko. 9 by the way is your wife named Amanda? Just a guess. |

| Nice shot - is the focus fractionally out? The second from right bud seems more in focus than the butterfly and flower. |

| I can't resist a cactus shot! Nice bloom! I like the DOF, but the blooms themselves (and the moth) seem slighly out of focus. Very lovely composition and lighting. The soft semi circle makes for a nice line over which my eye can go again and again. |

| Very postcard like! I liek hte depth of field in this picture it looks great! The colors are vibrant and wonderful. Well done! The border is fitting, though it looks like it might be a bit wider on the right side than the left (could just be my eyes playing tricks on me though) I like the text, it's fitting. Overall I'd say very well done! good job! |
