Hah! An independence theme and I get sent to Philly for work! Hah! Joke's on me as there's too much work and I don't get any time to really spend taking photos and My best were obscure so nobody would connect to the theme. However, I did get this one on the street near Independence Hall. Taken with Polarized cap and then cropped converted to B&W and adjusted levels and sharpened. Resized and saved for web.

great idea. the reflection interferes, but i don't have great suggestions on how to avoid it.

technically well executed. What if you had someone in the reflection reading it, that may have added more interest and meaning depending on who it was reading

Not my type of shot. I am distracted by the reflections of the people and the road sign.

Very original photo! I like the idea of the reflecting window with this VERY powerful message! The crossing lane and the buliding lines reminded me of the lines of the american flag...
I might have cropped it a bit different although you probably didn't have much choice with the perspective. I think there is a way in PS to force somewhat converging lines into straight parallel ones? not sure...
Well done

finally, someone with balls.....the one who displayed this, I mean.
Super shot. Don't you wish the sign had not been there but with this perfect angle I don't know how you could have avoided it. I give it a 10

Nice clear shot of the sign. Not an overly powerful image, but crisp and clear.

Great idea ... the reflection of the street sign is a little distracting, tho.
