this looks to be a little over-sharpened. By shooting this macro, you leave me to think the deers fur is bristly like a porcupine - but on the contrary, it is soft. A close-up could have shown this without going to the extreme of macro. Sometimes macro causes the texture to seem harsher than it truly is. |

Very nice (7) may be higher after I get down looking at all of them
Not marking down for this but I'm curious how it would have looked with a little more DOF so the eye was in focus as well |
