I think this photo stands for soooooo much.

First thing was the bars then i thought that actually the bars dont look as bad as the animals eyes. You can see this is captive (obviously the bars) but the eyes tell that story too and for me is just a reminder that no matter how ell they are cared for these creatures are highly tuned predators and belong in the wild.

Great photo which sends home a few reminders!!

I don't like the strong color of the bars.

Definitely captures the essence of a caged life. On the other hand, the bright orange of the bars is distracting, esp. given that the rest of the photo has such little color. wonder if it would not be better to convert the whole picture to black and white...it would probably be aesthetically more pleasing, but have less drama.

I don't know...the orange bars are quite jarring to me. I get your intent, but would b/w maybe have worked here? nice focus and lighting

Those red stripes are disappointing.

The bars, coupled with the sullen look of the cat, set this photo apart from the others I've seen so far; I feel for this animal. Great shot - 8. Bumping to 9, you captured "zoo".

I find the bars distracting being out of focus. Would have liked it much better if they were clear.

Poor guy. I wish the bars weren't there but that might have been impossible to achieve. I find the orange quite distracting. His face and detail is well shot.
