A poweful image and great character study. The image is haunting because it paints a slice of time almost in deep comtemplation of time gone by and that before it. Something deeply penetrating and at the same time disturbing. The tonal values weave their magic in b/w to capture the viewer.

| this is what i've been looking for... character lines and facial texture which will show well in b/w... suggest reduce the empty space which is kinda distracting. don't get me wrong, i like empty negative spaces but i think this time it sort of drew my attention away from the subject. |

| This is an excellent picture. Meets the challenge perfectly. Execution is pretty much flawless. Composition is original, especially cropping the face at the forehead. Maybe you've pushed the contrast a little bit too far, though. Some areas are darker than they should be. But overall, a great pic. |
