| One of a small percentage of 600 entries that I can actuallt FEEL the texture in the shot, I find this to be an exceptional piece on a few levels. It is composed perfectly, has various interest points by using focus/nonfocus to advantage and most importantly, it emotes a feeling.... one of solitude and stillness. One can also read into this a hand helping another. Nice work. One of my ribbon picks. |

| An elegant composition with a well selected depth of field to emphasise the texture; soft but also fine. Not the most interesting subject, but your handling of it is very effective. 7 |

| nice soft, velvety feel here. I like the soft lighting and the dark background. selective focus works well |
