A glass of Jack Daniels, on the rocks, shot with +4 and +2 close-up lens.

Trying to create an image with impact, in an advertisement style, by keeping it simple and playing with the lighting.

Note to self: Don't consume large amounts of your subject if you have to go to work the next morning :-/

I like how the lighting emphasises the ripples or condensation on the glass.

You can't go wrong with Jack Daniel's :-) Everything works here, the glass, the water and most of all the lighting. An excellent idea and well pulled off.

Very nicely shot! Sharpness, clarity, color... everything is perfect! Border also complements the shot well. --10

Nice. I think it would be more effective pulled back a bit so that we can see a bit more of the shape of the ice cubes throught the glass.

Nice sharp picture.

The logo itself is really the star of this picture, not the glassness of the glass. Therefore, I have to grade it down a bit from what I might if going on pure image quality, to leave room above it for shots that explore the features of glass a bit more deeply.

black at bottom is distracting, not the border but on the bottle

Techniclly great but it just doesn't excite me. It would look nice behind the bar though. 6

Perfect crop. I would have liked to have seen it a little more damp on the outside.

Good macro exposure with interesting colour and texture, but not original.
