Too much glare. Hardware is blown out oribably becasue you set exposure on the dark tones of the wood.

I really like this. Personally, I think the impact would have been better in black & white - to show the character of the wood better. But I really like the composition!

I love this kind of stuff, why didn't I think of it to enter this challenge? Love the warm tones in the wood, and the newwer lock - highlights are a little bright on the latch (bracketing would have helped) but really nice work

A bit too much highlight/glare on the lock but otherwise, composition is very good and I can almost feel the wood grain

Nice. Maybe the light was especially bright in the summer sun because the lock appears a tad hot - maybe tone down the brightness. The wood tones are varied and the detail is interesting. The composition is excellent. 8

Hmmm...good shot...nice texture...interesting color tones...I would change the title if it were mine...(personal preference)...looks good
