Washed rock and used a lot of bleach - brought out all the nice white edges and dark lines. Washed wrench and broke off all loose rust, dried in sun on rock, took pic standing over the rock to minimize shadow from the wrench and also to eliminate glare from sun.

The idea of your viewer "feeling" texture through a photograph is not an easy assigment to meet, but you succeeded exceptionally well. One of my top 10 favorites of this week.

I like this very much. The complimentary yellows, browns and oranges are nice with that touch of blue for contrast. The detail is in perfect focus. Composition is interesting and almost has leading lines in a diagonal way. The light and dark is well done - overall a really good shot. 9
