This looks like a Saker Falcon, a favorite bird that the Arabs use for hunting in the united arab emirates. They are a big falcon and one that will readily take ground prey such as rabbits and Hares but also for the large desert birds that inhabit the dry sands.

Great photo, great pose from a magnificent highly tuned predator.

I would have cropped this closer on the left as the object which I am guessing is the other wing's underside, does not look good. Otherwise, an excellent photo. 9

Lovely. Man, this is awesome. The dark background just makes him jump out. I feel like I can sense the softness of the feathers. His eye is wonderful. The colors and lighting couldn't be better. 9
