For anyone interested, it is actually a hand. I cropped it down because the whole hand itself I felt was uninteresting. I thought that people might be intrigued by what it was and it certainly met the challenge, however, as usual on this site negativity prevails.

i feel that while this shows the texture, thats it -- it's not an overall intersting or pleasing pic that grabs or holds my interest
