This is the underside of a cheap door mat draped over a porch rail and the shapes are little rubber knubs that are about 2mm tall. I was looking for something to shoot, and I saw this thing laying about at work. I don't have anything funny to say about this shot, so...whatever.

I took the shot in macro mode, cropped it, made it a quadtone image, and USM'd it to fix my shakiness...too much coffee, or not enough...I forget how it works.

I was going to submit a shot of my deck, but opted out, depsite the amount of luv I feel for my deck.

Looks like you've shot this from a starship. It's inetersting. But I feel like a lot was done in the processing that's not really needed here.

Really cool texture, unfortunately it seems a little grainy.
Nevermind, just my monitor, i got the dust off it now...Lemme go back and change that to an 8

I like the angle. One of the few shallow depth of field pictures I've seen so far that I've liked. Lends quite a bit to the imagination.
