I like how the circles in the glass give it texture.

A daring entry for "glass", and even though a glass object is in it, it's not the first thing one thinks of when looking at the picture. I think it is very interesting that you used warm tones for a picture depicting depression. Good job!

Nice tones - I love the white background and I love that you used a wide depth of field so that both the pills and the whole glass are in focus.

It could be called poor taste, but it is much better than yet another wine glass taken from yet another angle.

Very well executed, with great lighting and good composition. I think it's getting away from the main theme of the challenge a little, but it's still a good one.

Disturbing image. Well composed ..... and it definitely has impact. It seems to be a little overexposed though.

Good original idea. You sure got the lighting spot in here!

Was this picture taken straight downwards on a piece of white paper, with the glass just sticking straigght up, looks too perfect to be falling pills, but it's a very cool trick. Very interesting what you did here... I like the border with the single pixel (or two?) offwhite line before the black, I think your lighting is very nicely done... what kind of pills are these really? Are they actually depression pills? Nice job. -8-

Top of the hand is a touch dark, but the desaturation was a good move.

Excellent composition, technically perfect, well presented with the sepia linking to title, albeit not something likely to inspire, emote or capable of telling something new or differently.

A little too contrasty for the subject I think. the hand kind of disappears in shadow while the pills blow out in some spots. great composition, and creative thought.

Nice crisp image, the only complaint I would have is that the focal point of the image seems to be the pills rather than the glass.
