The Galileo thermometer (again). Couldn't resist... I decided on a macro shot to try and emphasise the glass. After experimenting with some colour ideas, I went for this shot, which shows refraction as the glass emerges from the liquid. The spoke-like refelections are from the roof of my conservatory.

Good illustration of the refraction with these temperature ball things, but I think you should've at least shown the tag hanging from the one breaking the surface.

Nice sharp picture, I saw a thread on here a couple of days ago about ghetto lighting, perhaps a home made light diffuser would soften those harsh reflections? Great job!
