What an emotionally strong photo! I love the selective desat work you have applied. DOF and detail are wonderful. The purpels really pop and add a lot to this image.

| I, for one, like the purple "pop" against the dual tones as they work together to simplify the story in the busy frame. |

| Nice lighting and what appears to be selective de-saturation. I would like to see more detail of the subject. Perhaps a closer shot where the viewer can see the inscription, but far enough to still have the flowers framing the shot. The left part of the picture does not seem necessary. |

| The selective change to B&W is the strength of this shot. Well done, good choice to leave the flowers, it keeps it interesting and emotional. |
