Not sure how you did it but whatever you did, I certainly like it. Congratulations on a fine shot. 8

WOW!!!! Beautiful image - love the fluffy clouds against the vibrant purple of the glass ball.

That's really cool. Great idea using the Sun to light up the glass thing. I love the clouds also, they go well with the purple.

Although I would have preferred a different glass-color (the purple and yellow doesn't fit that well with the sky) I really like this picture. It's original and the sky is simply awesome. Well done! - 8

Very cool setup. Good creativity. Is that line what was holding up the ball or was it cought in mid-air?

Wow! How cool! Did you use fishing line or something? I think I can juuuust barely make out a thread. Very cool effect!

Incredible that you were able to expose this so well. Lots of detail in the glass without washing out the sky. Great shot, clever idea. 8

I am impressed with your technique, but it doesn't reel me into thinking there is a glass subject here. It looks like a new planet or something to me, without your title. 6

Great work, but I'm not sure if this is the ideal border for this shot.

Did you throw it up in the air?

This image looks so unreal, you have taken a photo you can be very proud of. Very simple but so effective!

Good job. I can just faintly see the string the ball is hanging from ( so I can't question this one:).

I'd have preferred this with a plain colour background.

Cool.... shame about the string.... interesting shot though..... maybe a bit more saturation....

This looks pasted-together-in-photoshop - the background and the sphere are not lit anything like the same, and it's just floating there, disconnected, with no reason for the clouds to even be there. Kind of pretty, but could have been so much better. I'd even grade just a photo of the sphere on a neutral background higher than this.

If i didn't know better I'd say it's photoshopped. I like it, and am looking forward to your "how i did this".
