** Greetings from the Critique Club **
A cute photo of an adorable little boy - yet misses the mark as far as making wood a major element. The boy and the brightness of the sky showing through trees is what catches my eye first most - the wood is simply a small element that the child is posed upon. As far as technical eval: the DOF is perfect in my opinion. I would have tried to tone down the brightness of the sky, and not cropped the top so closely (unless of course it would have brought more of the bright sky into play)Focus is nice and sharp. Colors are right on.

| cute kid but the challenge called for a shot where wood is an important part of the composition, the wood seems rather minor here |

| That's the most realistic wooden child I've ever seen. Hold on, he is real! I'd say wood is not an important component of this photo. :-( |

| 9 for people score but only 4 this challenge as subtle wood beam very elusive. The child basically steals the shot. |

| Technically, this is a sound image. Its in focus, the lighting is okay, composition okay. But I honeslty don't see wood as an important component in this image. 4 |
