 In my parallel life, I am a handspinner, handweaver, and knitter. This is some of my handspun yarn with a pair of my knitting needles and a drop spindle. I shot the picture in my living room with a knitted shawl as background. I processed the picture with Photoshop 7. I tweaked the color and contrast and cropped it.

Great idea and love the colors - maybe just a little bit too many colors with this green backround that also has some texture. Would have liked to see it with a cleaner background and maybe not so even lightning, just my idea.

I love the colours here but, maybe it's just me I don't know, it seems a fraction soft...maybe?? well done!

Nice colors. The only issue that I have with this image is the knitting over the chair to create a backdrop. I can see the red chair underneath. This effects composition. Maybe fill the image more with that great colorful yarn.

Nice colours but bland in other ways. The image is a simple still life which usually rely on lighting to provide the 'WOW' factor. Would be a good stock image but not a contest winner.
