Brilliant ideal. However, the highlights are extremely bright, and detract from the kid in the window.

This is a fantastic idea. I love your use of framing.
I'm wondering whether this shot would be enhanced by cropping out more of your background to bring out the frame more. Selective desat might have worked in your favour here as well.

This is very very creative and the only thing that holds me back if the composition. It is too.....boxy. Good luck!

Nice use of a mirror. The subject is beautifully lit, framed, and photographed. The weedy backdrop, gratefully, has been cropped right and bottom. And the darkness of the grotto makes the frame stand out well. The left side ot the photo seems too tangled and full of distracting detail to quite work. One wonders whether this photo would not work better taken in fading, cloudy or misty daylight where the shadows are very gentle. Then the lighting might have been managed to de-emphasize the tangle of weeds near the left margin. Perhaps lower light would also allow DOF manipulation more favorable to this goal.

neat idea, but looks a bit out of place.

VERY cool shot. I'm guessing that you used a mirror and the boy is off to the left? I do with the highlights weren't as blown as they are, but it's tough to take off many points from this photograph. Very well done.

For such a nature filled composition your photo is very, well, organised by human toutch. At first I thought wow what a great frame of vegetation. Then I banged my vision against the window leading me towards the bottom right corner. Eventually the edge of the frame took me right out of the photo completely. It doesn`t help that I was looking for wood here and there. As I write these last few word I notice how the photo/mirror of the blond child fights for attention as much as the vegetation. Loved the great division of shadow between window and vegetation. Big four score screaming for more wood. Thanks for the lovely photo.

window? mirror? interesting unusual , perhaps a tighter crop?

Very original. Everything is perfect, except, in my humble opinion, the blown out greens at the top and on the left. And maybe the eyes of the little model, which look like black holes.

In this challenge, "Creativity is the Key" is what I am using to score images. More like a reflection than a window but the creativity here is master! Excellently done. I love the way the white frame forces your eye to the corner. Like the look as if the child is staring at viewer as an afterthought, like the viewer is interrupting a private moment. Wish the greens were a little more subdued outside the frame - they pull my eye away from the main focus. I love that you got some flowers into the framed part. Makes that world seem more special. Excellent job, creatively out of the box/ 10 - Goodluck in the challenge!

Very interesting and artfully done. Great imagination! The lighting is a tad harsh, but overall, I like your creative approach to the challenge.

Very good use of a very uninteresting subject. Shows creativity.
