** Greetings from the Critique Club **
A very creative image for this challenge. I like your thinking.
A couple suggestions - use of a white china cup possibly would have added some nice contrast. Possibly increase the DOF - the background is a bit too blurred out in my opinion. The cropping and frame work well here.

The crop doesn't work too well IMHO. The tonal range isn't that stimulating as well. You could have used another style mug that wouldn't have rendered so much brown in the image. |

I get it.... but it's a bit of a stretch and the blurred background is a bit distracting.... maybe more cropping to better isolate the cup in the foreground |

Nice, until now I never really thought of cinnamon as wood though. It is, I just never really thought of it. |

wonderful to see cinammon in a wood challenge. I wonder if the nit-pickers will say bark isn't wood? |
