** Greetings from the Critique Club **
An interesting entry. The kitty really gives meaning to an otherwise plain image. The DOF is good, but the angle makes it hard to discern where the one step ends and the second begins along the right side. The cat is perhaps the only thing that truly discerns this on the left.
The boards along the top of the image seem a bit too bright - perhaps from the time of day this was shot? Focus seems a little soft.

| my eye wants to see the cat lower and further left by half a cat - but that may just make it different, not better. REALLY cool concept - great overall color scheme for me, I really like this. Aren't you glad you didn't seal that deck yet? the weathered wood is really nice. Maybe some dodge and burn to accent that more? there's my two cents, and it might be overpriced at that! :) great work - 7 for now, will revisit |

| What a lovely picture - you must have sneaked up on the cat to get it so quiet. Not sure if you have changed the inage to black and white or if they are just the colours as was but either way its great. 8 |

The wood is way too plain colored, and so is the cat. The angle is not pleasing. |

| Aww... This cat looks just like mine, white spot and all. Great idea, nice composition, but I find it hard to see the dimension of the steps. Perhaps a more angled shot would've helped. |

| Oh I like this alot. Maybe a tad more contrast on the planks. Nice composition. The kitty adds a nice softness to the hard texture of the stairs. |
