I have always held back on making this shot a favorite for the sheer reason that I love butterflies and hate to see one hurt or dead... but I guess I cant hold back any longer! haha... its just such a beautiful shot and I can no longer deny it! A favorite it is! |

I shot this photo of a crippled and dead frog on the railroad tracks and I thought of this shot of yours.

I'm only saying this cuz I'm pretty sure you have a good sense of humor, but isn't it a tad unnecessary to describe a dead butterfly as crippled too? I'd say, yes, indeed he is crippled...mortally.
Awesome shot. I like the way you have juxtaposing elements in much of your work. I humbly echo the admiration of others. |

This photo gives me goosebumps.
You have captured something of the intolerable way things are getting lost.
Your POV is perfect, the toning and details...
Joey, you have a gift no one else has in this place. |

Strong composition in this shot. Really like the gritty feel.
To me this image is about the impact/destruction man wreaks on the delicate ecological balance. Powerful work!!

Cool picture Joey! Reminds me of the opening of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". Oh! I see you now have a Minolta. Sky's the limit for you now! Or is it? |
