bit too dark - she seems like a good subject - good expression. Could have been better vertical ? |

it's a little dark, but still not bad |

I like the pose, and even though things seem a little soft, I like that too. However, I'm pretty sure that monitor calibration differences or not, the skin tones in this picture need to be brighter. As for composition, I either would suggest moving her a little bit further to the right, or maybe turning this into a vertical shot. |

Dark and out of focus, but I like the girls expression. |

Appears too dark on my screen. Focus isn't soft, but somehow doesn't seem sharp either, probably due to the darkness of the shot. Were you in a brown out situation? Photo 6 Creativity 6 B&W 6 total 6 |

needs more light and contrast. |

"WHERE is that stupid light switch?"
Seriously, I like this expressive portrait and effective use of a limited tone range...and it's a handy way to drop out almost any background too. |

I like the expression on her face and the composition of the shot. But it's a tad bit dark for my taste. Maybe a little bit of soft light from below going onto her face. |

It might be my monitor but the background looks too dark.... |

If you could increase the contrast while maintaining the density of the black bg, you'd have a winner here. |

Cute little girl, but I'm not crazy about the lighting and it looks a little blurry. |

Another kid pic, not very original and too dark. |

Good mood portrayal. You might try some additional, well positioned lighting could acentuate her face without loosing the mood. |

Good shot, but a little too dark. |

I'm trying to decide if I like her this dark. I feel that even in a place as dimly lit as you are trying to portray the minds eye would lighten the highlights to a plesent level. |

Did you mean for it to seem out of focus? If so, I don't know that it helps any. |

This is a good photo but it's a little dark and the centering is a little off as well... The centering works best either centered or on a third line... I'm not sure if the darkness is intentional or not... |
