| I think this should have been in the top ten, it was my favorite of the group. Great job. Also I think you would have scored lower with the edited version. It looks fake, to much photoshop work. The original is awsome. |

I rather liked this photo when I came across it in the voting. I think for the most part the culture reference was one that some might have not quite gotten.
As for that edit version. I'm fairly sure the flare would have DQed. BUT I personally like the smoothed out look of her face from that Smart Blur. A few fine tuning adjustments on this could have easy brought in a ribbon. |

| I believe that the flare, if it was added in PS, would have DQ'd this image. I didn't vote this challenge, but I really like your image. I suppose it is a little loose on the topic, but given the score its really not that bad. 15 out of 228 means you did something right :) |

Thanks so much for all your comments! Some commented my entry was not very "affluent". On the hind sight, for the sake of learning, I have an alternate edit. Smart blur and Lens flare added.
If I've done it this way, would I have gotten higher marks? or would I been DQd?

| This is a winner my favorite so far you get a 9. Every thing about this photo falls into place. The vertical line of the red pillar is straight vertical no slant. the models face is exctly 1/2 . The colors blend perfectly. Every hair is in position. I cannot say enough. Excellent. Thank you for this enjoyment |

| This is my favourite so far. I wouldn't have known it was about affluence based on the image alone because I associate the colour red with love and passion. It's a great composition. I love this model too!! |

| This is intriquing, simple, and has great colors - the model is beautiful and well shot. A little more contrast and perhaps a more descriptive element in the foreground would have been a 10. 8 from me. Nice. |

| The Affluence Challenge description says, "The opposite of the poverty challenge. Knock us out with your representation of MATERIAL WEALTH." This is a cut and paste message that I will comment on all submissions that do not seem to suit the topic of the challenge. Take note I understand this maybe just my personal opinion, and as such I only deducted 1 point from my original vote. |
