No animals were harmed during the taking of this pic.

my very tolerant cat, Clyde, not really swung around the room, honest.

Tried long exposure with flash capture but ended up with this simpler version.....

crop, increased sat on yellows, levels, USM

Oh well, I didn't expect to be top 10 with this...but perhaps the 'humour' angle just didn't work, as well as the phrase 'room to swing a cat' perhaps not being universally known.

BUT ! To all you concerned cat lovers, I assure you, despite the fact he does look a bit cross, he was perfectly happy to be held like this - he loves my hubbie, who's holding him; will do anything for him ! For a happier shot of Clyde, have a look at my 'Best Friends' entry :-)

'8' - Good shot. Criticism; For me, this would be a better photograph if you had obtained more swing momentum. I would like to see the cat swung higher, so that it's legs were almost totally blurred. Traditionally, I believe that to correctly calculate that there is indeed enough room to swing a cat you have to hold it by one leg or the tail and then swing. Good interpretation of the word 'room' in this fairly 'open' style Challenge, although the cat is clearly unimpressed. Nice colors.

I hope the cat liked it, because it looks pretty horrible from where I am sitting.
