Taken hand-held (should have brought my tripod...). This is the interior of one of the buildings on the grounds at Fort Niagara. It was quite dark, so I upped the ISO to 1600 and braced myself on some steps several feet away from these archways.

Some desat, gaussian blur, and a little usm applied. I hope you like the effect (...but I don't count on it :-).

Wonderful use of B/W and dodge/burning. Plenty of contrast and compostional elements such as 'line' and 'vanishiing point' to keep the viewer interested.

Little hot spot in the lower left but overall great subject matter. Title makes me think....."I don't think so!" Good job 9.

What an unexpected title. In a picture that resembles an older monastery or convent. Are you making reference to Chattages of catholic infamy?

Chattages were the common name for when the upper level priests of a seminary would take young boys, priests in training, into their room for a "chat" of an indecent nature.

Looks like an old fort battery. Title sucks, but the image has depth.

This would be better if you had someone at the end of all those arches. Very nice glow and composition.

Seems overexposed on the left side. I like the leading lines of it .
