This was the setup I used to take the shot "Polished" for the Wooden challenge. The violin is balanced using two board game boxes. The backdrop is a black sweater laying on a chair. Several black t-shirts were used on the ground and on another chair in the background to try to reduce glare from the white walls and carpet.
