Aunty les is right. I think it's a nice statement, and a good image to support it. Problem of course that the dpc voters are daft. |

I get the concept of life itself being all the riches you need, but I'm not quite certain I understand how the belt infers the same thing. In other words, it's a great idea, but the photo doesn't stand alone. You absolutely need both the title of the shot and the topic of the challenge, and even then the belt doesn't really make sense. I hope you're of the mind to take constructive criticism in the way it was meant - I'm not trying to offend you, here. I just don't think your photo conveys as much meaning as the title does. |

Short answer...material wealth is something you can buy. Unless you have some deal going with the devil and souls I would seriously doubt you can buy life. |

I think this wouild be really effective if placed on a black or white background/counter and done with a black and white filter. Then it would really jump out at you. I find the brown woven cloth to be kind of distracting. I'd place the coiled belt completely in the shot and not cropped out on the left with plenty of negative space to the right. Hope this is helpful. |

The Affluence Challenge description says, "The opposite of the poverty challenge. Knock us out with your representation of MATERIAL WEALTH." This is a cut and paste message that I will comment on all submissions that do not seem to suit the topic of the challenge. Take note I understand this maybe just my personal opinion, and as such I only deducted 1 point from my original vote. |

To the disinterested observer, there doesn't seem to be a direct link to the challenge theme. |
