 This is a picture of my bmw watch
withe 1 dollar bills be hind it
Im actualy canadian but I still had 1 dollar bills left from my florida trip :)
Picture was taken with poor lighting but used a 4 second shutter speed

The lighting is a little bit flat in this image, but I have to give you props for eliminating glare on the crystal. Tthe focus and DOF used are both great. I find the angle to be good, because it adds a bit of dynamic to the shot, but the rather central placement of the watch in the frame makes it a bit less impactful. The money in the background might have more pop if it were not one dollar bills (LOL), or if the money was a little more contrasty and brighter in color. The shot meets the challenge, but doesn't have the "wow" factor that most DPC voters long to see. I would rank this image a 5 or a 6.

The lighting is kind of flat, the composition is most likely dull I would have loved this image if it popped more and the dollars in the bakground were more visible. That said I still think this image is fabulous, clever, very clever idea.

I would have probably taken a photo of just the watch. The bills in the background is a bit distracting. if I'm not mistaken, those are Washingtons right? The watch in itself would have done it. IMHO.

You've really paid attention to the details in this shot. The background adds to the overall feeling of affluence. The controlled reflection on the watch face keep the image message alive. Well done. 8
