 This was shot at the local cemetary, just after sunset, so the lighting was very flat. I was actually looking for affluent gravestones, but this humble headstone gave a better message, with the IHS symbol similar to the dollar sign.
Post processing - Noise removal, histogram, HSL, USM crop, resize, border.

Hmmm, interesting. Surely that symbol means something other than money. Regardless, this picture is well done. I like the angle at which this was taken. Lighting, composition and focus are all good. The background seems a little artifacty, though (maybe oversaturated?).

While I understand and agree with your social commentary about affluence, the challenge topic is affluence and as such your image does not meet the challenge in my opinion. The image is clear and complelling it just doesn't fit in this challenge.
