Alot of improvement in the edited version. Everyone else is spot on. The dodged center section totally makes the subject come into light. The only complaint I have is the lack of detail in the I beams. |

nice dodging around the silhouetted person to make him pop!
i think you should try to burn the upper part of the sky, as well as some of left and right to sort of frame your subject in the middle, dont know how good it will look but it is something to try. in general i like the vignetting effect but i know a lot of people that dont so it might just come down to individual taste.
good job using the rules of thirds in your composition :-) |

Very, very nice. The dodging around the cunstruction worker makes for a dramatic improvement. It puts the focus on him and his precarious position. What a great sky.
I understand the concept as well, but am woefully inept at bringing my vision to the photo.
Heida definitely makes it look a lot easier than it is. |
