Would love to be in that place, so serene.

Awesome scene, awesome DOF. Your a little slanted on your horizon though. This is an easy fix in Photoshop. If you need help straightening a shot, PM me after the challenge and I'll tell ya how. Your colors seem a little flat too. Maybe a little tweaking of the levels would hellp bring out the tones in the rocks. As far as the challenge goes though, this doesn't really look like an illusion to me...

I'm not sure if a reflection innature qualifies as an illusion although this is imply lovely

Beautiful landscape with that lovely reflection that becomes the illusion, well done.

Great depth of field and I love the sweep of the skyline.

this is an interesting reflection. I would prefer the horizon to be horizontal, as this causes distraction for me

nicely captured reflection shot

This is a nice picture, it just seems to be lacking a bit in crispness

Gorgeous reflection shot! What's the illusion?
08/09/2005 08:10:11 PM
lovely reflections here in this landscape
08/09/2005 03:15:00 PM
very nice reflection

Perhaps one has to be familiar with this particular lake to understand the illusion - i am not...

When shooting something with a very clear horison, allways make sure it is perfectly horisontal. Nice landscape and reflections, But I do not really see the illusion. I think for reflections to be the illusion, you should not be able to differentiate brtween real and reflected. IMHO.

Beautiful shot and reflection. The tilted horizon line is a little distracting though.

This beautiful reflection creates a wonderful abstract. It does seem to be pushing the challenge a bit. Still - 6

Great reflections. I love the color, great lighting.

BEAUTIFUL landscape shot. The water couldn't be more perfect and glass-like. The color and light is wonderful. Perhaps cropped a little too tight at the top maybe but no biggy. Very peaceful picture. 10

woooow amazing place, i really like your light metering and your frame
08/08/2005 11:14:12 AM
Good idea and wonderful landscape, but imo it could have been better with a straight horizon and maybe rotated 90 deg

Beautiful picture of the lake and nice reflection...illusion?
08/08/2005 04:44:53 AM
Beautiful serene scenery, you are one of the lucky few to view to witness this..nice dof although you might have made this more special with a little stronger color..
