Haha, you got me to look it up! Glad I did, because my first answer would've been wrong: A "krok" is a hook and a "nål" is a needle. That's true, but a kroknål (one word) is a crochet needle. That's a word I didn't know.
Hmmm, should I change the title to "Sign at an old crochet store?"

I like the simple composition, especially the way the shadow echoes the sign so clearly. The bumpy stucco wall adds interest. I also like the close crop (but I tend to crop more tightly than a lot of people at this site.) |
