Interesting take on the challenge. Not being a plant person, I'm missing the point of the greens however. |

Your image is quite yellowish in tone. Did you shoot this under regular light bulbs? Your white balance might have been set wrong. It's also a little flat lighting wise.

I'm sorry, I guess I just don't understand this picture... it's also rather lacking in focus |

Not sure about the illusion on this image. |

needs a little sharpening of image...I don't know what the plant means. |

The heather seems to be rather soft , which is probably more to do with the difference between the highligts and shadows on it. so additional lighting would help resolve this. |

The challenge is to trick your viewer. Illusions of richness and luck are different. |

a bit boring. the hand from the right makes you want to look to what its pointing at. and what its pointing at is boring and a bit out of focus. |

Don't understand the meaning of your title? The green moss reminds me of a spider... |

I'm not sure I understand the illusion as I do not know what the green plant is and what it has to do with luck. |

Sorry, but I don't get the illusion here. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, but I'm not seeing it. |

focus and lighting are a little off and there seems to be a slight color cast on the hand, but with a little more practice, luck may no longer be an illusion. i like your idea |

First Impression:I think it is a bit too red, and a bit soft too. The hand (not the fingers), takes up a lot of space but does not contribute. I think it would have benefitted from b&w.
Was I fooled? Doesn't count., this is implied illusion. And implied well. |

Good color, I like the texture of that wood. This doesn't grab me. |

This image just doesn't excite me... I'm not sure what's missing... maybe it's the background. |

The green stuff is slightly out of focus, I would selct a smaller aperature to get a greater DOF. |
