I like this pic, makes me sad, like remembering a loved one who has passed away. |

well executed shot and composition.
I really like the neutral couch and the bright left hand corner which gives the 'room' depth... I wonder how it would look if the figure wore a solid colored dress? The dress seems to be of a similar pattern as the pillow and might take a way just a tad from the contrast? but perhaps that was intended... In any case, well done and great lighting! |

How did you work this shot? Did you shoot the couch without the model and move her in or the other way around? Your pillow obviously moved during the exchange... There are a couple of ways to pull off the lighting of a shot like this and make it look more like I'm assuming you wanted it too look... What color is the couch itself? It kinda dissapears into the wall. Maybe a dark backdrop behind it would bring out more detail and help to eliminate the hot spot upper right wall.

This is a good illusion... and it sort of creeps me out! |

I would like this a lot more if you could execute it without the pillow moving so much throughout the exposure...5 |

I feel that this might have worked a little better had the pillow not moved. |

Great use of long exposure to create this illusion, good job |

I like the illusion, but wish the pillow had remained stationary. As it is, it's a bit dizzying to look at this picture. |

Would have been great if the woman was a little clearer and the pillows stayed in the same place. |

I like the idea, but feel that illusion would work better if the cussion was in the same place for the whole shot.
That being said this is still a very pleasing image. Well done and thanks |

I cannot make out what or where "she" is, could be a child on the pillow..not very catching.. |

IMO the exposer was not long enough when the model was on the couch. Nice attempt. |

I really want to like this a lot, but the model's dress being very similar to the throw pillow, and the movement of the pillow hurts it a bit. A bit more time on the couch might have helped.
Nice concept. |

This is great as an illusion to reality and as a long exposure. There are times when I feel this way too :) |

Beautiful and haunting image. Maybe a bit more exposure on the model to bring out a bit more detail would have worked just as good here. Overall I love it, good job! |

The girl is almost too faint to make out, but very nice tones and detail otherwise. |

good idea, but what does the photo say? is it a ghost laying down? a magic trick? the super hero ... OPACITY WOMAN! heh, anyway. nice shot. |

I think this long exposure picture would have looked better had the pillow stayed in the same spot for the entire shot. |

I like the statement, however I think the execution could be a little better. The pillow moved causing it to blur and become a distraction. The lady in the illusion is too faint, maybe a little longer exposure on her would help. Also her outfit matches the fabric in the pillow too closely and she becomes even more lost. |

Great idea. did you try one without the pillow? Seems it has effected her depth of opaquness (thats not a word...) i would have liked to see a little more of her face. |

I think I've spent longer looking at this than any other entry!...still not entirely sure i've got it! shame her face isnt a bit more visable - I think the busy pattern of the cushion prevents this. A emotive photo none the less. |
