 I'm sure some people will notice these are chainsaw marks and that there were no chainsaws in 1857, but I couldn't really think of a date, and it wasn't my wood to go and hack up to try and make it look more like old style hand saws.

I also thought about adding noise, but thought it would lower my score more since it's not that strong of a picture. I know, I'm putting it in becasuse I want an update button :P

Oh well, have at it!

too contrasty. a bit too centered - copmposition does not draw my eye in. Lacks a focal pointor something to grab my eye and keep me interested
