I like your interpration of 1939- The wallpaper, the hat on the hat rack and the molding on the door. You kept it clean and simple.

6 - Met the Challenge - but lacks a little in my opinion (for me, a photo of this put into a time capsule would depict a 'feel' for this era for future generations). Criticism; whilst I do like the simplicity, given the Challenge I would like to see more 'items'. I like the feel of the 'subjects' but just, in my opinion, another 'character' or two would make this a better photograph for the Challenge in my opinion.

Simple and nice. I think it would be even better if it were shot with a plain background. The wall paper and the woodwork are a bit distracting.
