Spectacular colours! Kirstenbosch ? I'm for the sky, (in the little debate), but perhaps flip the image horisontally and see what it does.

Ahh, the beauty of difference in opinion.(per other comments) Sure a horizontal landscape shot would look great, but I'm a fan of stunning landscape photos with a big sky. In this case, the sky is intetesting so it works. Personally, if I were to shoot something similar to this, if there were different kinds of clouds in the frame, and the sky had some action going on, I'd go with the vertical shot (like yours), thus capturing the atmospherical action.

If I had any suggestions to improve, I'd say a tad adjustment to the contrast in the sky, but not so much as to peak any highlights. Great shot though. Good job.

I think a little too much sky. The colors are really nice. Perhaps cropping out some of the sky? I sure like the yellow.

I agree, a landscaped image in this case would make a huge difference. Great contrasts though.

Totally agree with phinbob's assessment of this image however I feel that the sense of depth in the image could be exploited more if the image was horizontal rather than vertical.

I really like this! I love the contrast between the sky and the field. I get a feeling of vastness, wide open spaces. Great photo.
