 ok, so it's not much of an ocean.. more of a lake.. lake ontario.

shot at 1/15, handheld, at a rare outdoor concert near my place.

i changed the crop/lighting so many times, i hope it was worth it.

I just love this shot! I'm surprised it's not in the top 10! It's so sharp, and well-composed. I love the misty look of your "ocean" too! VERY awesome photo!!!

Good subject for black and white. I would have cropped out some of the sky, but that's just me. I'd have tried to get it sharper, too.

Love the composition, the only thing keeping from a 10 IMHO is you cut off her feet. 9.

great in b&w, good composition and framing - it would be nice to see her feet completely and to sharpen the photo more

its kinda cool but it looks like you failed to capture music being performed, it looks like they are in between songs here or something, there's no real 'live' feel to it.

I think the composition here could improve. The stage is too bottom left. Also, the contrast could be bumped up quite a bit IMO.

Like the shot. I wonder if a lower angle would have been better. As is the horizon gives the band a boxed in feeling although it's not too pronounced.

What a great opportunity, but the composition just doesn't work for me here. You've chopped her feet off! Did it not work well in colour? What about a portrait orientated shot with the drums at the edge of the frame, with loads of sky?
